PRINCIPAL CATERING OE was founded in 2007 and is today a rapidly growing company in the food service, events, and catering industry. With years of experience and specialized expertise, we ensure high-quality services.
Facilities & Infrastructure
Our privately owned facilities are located at the 1st km of Kavyli-Orestiada, on a 12-acre site, and include:
Event hall & reception estate.
Modern meal production unit, recently modernized with a capacity of 9,000 meals daily.
Warehouses and distribution department with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
Fleet of 10 refrigerated trucks, suitable for safe food transport.
Human Resources: The company employs a total of 60 people (including seasonal staff).
Major Contracts & Projects
We consistently execute large-scale catering projects for public and private entities:
Fylakio Reception and Identification Center: Continuous catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner) since 2013, and as a subcontractor since 2021.
School Meals (OPEKA): Since 2021, daily distribution to over 50 schools in the Municipalities of Alexandroupolis, Didymoteicho, and Komotini.
Didymoteicho Police School: Catering for first-year police cadets annually since 2016.
Educational Institutions: Catering for Student Dormitories in Komotini, Xanthi, and schools in Echinos.
DIAXON ABEE (HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group): Contract from 2026 for employee catering at the Komotini factory.
Social Contribution & Emergency Response
We show immediate reflexes during critical periods:
- Refugee crisis: Catering for 800 police officers at the border.
- Wildfires: Catering for 200 firefighters (domestic and foreign forces).
